C-B-C News is now identifying the Canadian soldier killed this morning at the National War Memorial. Twenty-four-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo was the young reservist from Hamilton that was shot. Cirillo was later pronounced dead in hospital. The city of Hamilton and the nation as a whole is mourning the loss of the young solider.
