Our MPP happy with recent funding announcement for area nursing stations

Funding is coming for nursing stations in Port Carling and Dorset. The Ministry of Health announced a three-year pilot project for primary care staff in those communities. Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller says he’s happy the minister has decided to go ahead with this project He says the success of nursing stations in the Parry Sound District illustrates the value they provide for small, rural communities. Other funding includes reinstating nursing support for the Wahta First Nation and providing a mobile nursing station to service residents in Port Severn and Severn Bridge.
