The need for The Burk’s Falls and Area Food Bank is big. And you can help stock their shelves by joining their Hunger Walk this Saturday. Organizer Brian Gilmer says they service seven communities in Almaguin.

Registration starts at 9:30am at the Entrance to Stan Darling Park. Pledges forms are available at various locations in Almaguin.

You can also get forms at Canoe Algonquin and Fetterley’s Garage in Kearney or the Foodland in Novar. If you can’t make it to the walk, you can make a donation or bring a non-perishable food item. Contact Janice at 705-636-5975.
