Local woman addresses son's suicide in brave new book 'Give Sorrow Words'

 

A woman known to many throughout Muskoka is opening up about her son’s suicide and the emotions that writing a book about the ordeal brought to the surface. Lynn Keane wrote ‘Give Sorrow Words’ about her son Daniel. Keane, who is known locally as co-founder of the annual Muskoka Rocks Road Race for Camp Oochigeas, says authoring the book was a cathartic experience….

Keane says it’s important we educate ourselves about depression and suicide, so we can advocate for those who are depressed and in need of help…
