Our tourism region is doing very well since the inception of Regional Tourism Organizations. RTOs were established by the province in 2010, and since then, our region, comprised of Almaguin Highlands, Algonquin Park, Port Loring and Restoule, Muskoka, and Parry Sound have made great strides.
Executive Director of our RTO, named Explorers’ Edge, James Murphy says it was all about having a good foundation and being open with all the individual partners.
