Environment Canada posts a snow squall warning

A snow squall warning is in effect for Huntsville, Baysville, Parry Sound, Rosseau, and Killbear Park. Environment Canada says local snow squalls will slowly weaken to flurries near noon today. Forecasters say the fact that Georgian Bay is still mostly ice covered will limit the intensity of the snow squalls and likely limit maximum local snowfall amounts to near 10 centimetres. However strong winds often gusting to 60 or 70 km/h will whip up any freshly fallen snow and motorists are being advised to be prepared for sudden zero visibility in blowing snow as the snow squalls move through.
