Huntsville OPP want parents to talk to their kids about personal safety

Police say they received a call at around 11:20 am on Saturday regarding a suspicious person on Princess Street in Huntsville.

One of the women who reported the suspicious activity was the mother of the children who were reportedly home when this happened. She reportedly told police that she observed a man filming through her living room window with his phone.

Police say the man then drove off in the direction of Brunel Road in a vehicle described as a black Fiat 500 or a similar model.

Police say they are now investigating the incident and are looking to speak with the male suspect. The man is described as a 30 to 40-year-old, with a sparse red beard, wearing a colourful bandana, and a pair of chromatic sport-style glasses.

Police ask that anyone with information, a dash camera, or home security footage involving this incident contact the Huntsville OPP Detachment at (705) 789-5551 or the OPP Provincial Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
