OPP looking for witnesses to Lake Simcoe plane crash

The crash took place shortly before 4 pm on Monday near Lagoon City in Ramara.

Police say when they found the male pilot of the plane, he was deceased.

The identity of the pilot will not be revealed until a post mortem examination is conducted and next of kin notifications are complete.

Police want anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
