The South Muskoka Shield have traded a few players at the GMHL trade. Last week Head Coach and General Manager, Frank Demasi acquired free agent David Hornak from Slovakia. Demasi says Hornak will help with the forward squad and special teams. Meantime the team also acquired the forward services of Huntsville native Dillon Keay from the Seguin Huskies, Czech Republic national Jaroslav Janeba, who was a defense specialist from the Parry Sound Islanders, and Adrien Guenette from the Sturgeon Falls Lumberjack. The Shield bid farwell to Jerico Buwalda who is now with the Rama Aces.
