Former Hamilton MPP dies in sleep New Years Day in Huntsville

A Former Hamilton MPP died in his sleep New Year’s Day at his home in Huntsville. Eric Cunningham was also a former federal candidate for the Liberal Party and a public relations consultant. He was 65 years old. Earlier in life he’d attended McMaster and the University of Western Ontario before working as an advertising executive. He leaves behind his wife Heather Hunter, a daughter Ashley and a son-in-law John Mesec. His funeral arrangements are being handled in Burlington where he also had a home.
