Muskoka district chair questions use of internal policy on sewage development

A District of Muskoka internal policy is under scrutiny by the district chair, following a public meeting with the Engineering and Public Works Committee.
John Klinck is wondering why the district officials decided to use the police AD-22 sections 4.11 through to 4.12 to move forward with a sewage development project in Bracebridge without consulting residents first.
Klinck says the district had plenty of time to touch base with homeowners regarding this project which would charge them each about $12,000.
Klinck says he will have it on his own agenda to revisit this specific policy and have it clarified with council when it should be used.
