A handful of athletes from Muskoka are in Red Deer, Alberta for Canada’s annual Winter Games.
From snowboarding to hockey and even in the biathlon Muskoka will be well-represented at the event which brings some of Canada’s top up and coming athletes together.
Former members of Team Ontario include Eugenie Bouchard, Sydney Crosby and Steve Nash.
Here’s a list of all the Muskoka athletes representing Team Ontario this year:
- Emma and Liam Brearley of Gravenhurst, competing in Snowboarding
- Natasia Varieur of Huntsville, competing in Biathlon
- Connor Punnett of Huntsville, joining Ontario’s hockey team
