Former Bracebridge Bear makes it to next level Florida Panthers training camp

A former Bracebridge Bear hockey player has got to the next level Florida Panthers training camp. Keevin Cutting grew up in Bracebridge and started playing hockey for the Bears for a few years. When he hit atom he played with the North Central Predators AAA Team based out of Rama until his draft year to the OHL in Minor Midget. From the Predators he was drafted to the Owen Sound Attack, playing his full junior career there. Last year he got a call from the head scout of the Florida Panthers asking if he’d like go to rookie camp. Today he’s in Florida and he tells the Moose that so far, the experience has lived up to what he thought it would be. On Thursday he said he’s looking forward to stepping on the ice to play the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightening and the Nashville Predators. Cutting is excited to see what comes of the future.
