The 41st annual Huntsville Girls Hockey Association tournament wrapped up today after three days of play with teams from across Ontario. Three Huntsville Sting teams are bringing home medals. The Novice girls finished with a Silver medal, while Atom Yellow and Senior both brought home gold.
Meanwhile, in MPS novice action yesterday, the Huntsville Otters came out on top over the Parry Sound Shamrocks with a final score of 9-4. In PeeWee Group A, the Otters beat the Shamrocks 6-3, and in PeeWee Group B Muskoka Rock took home the top spot, beating the Huntsville Otters AE 10-0.
In other local action over the weekend, the Huntsville Junior-C Otters game was cancelled on Friday due to weather and will be rescheduled.
