In Bracebridge Men’s Fastball League action Black Dog Farm edged the Co-Operators 4-3, with Lucas Ruttan hitting in the game winning run in the 7th for the win. Raynor Tree Service got a complete game pitching effort, and a home run, from Brian Hamblin, as they defeated Bulk Barn 6-2. State Farm pitcher Duncan McDonald went the distance, in helping State Farm to their 3rd win of the year, a 14-2 victory over BC North Electric. Plus, Griffin Pub defeated the Coulson Brothers 14-2, with Griffin’s Brad Quinton hitting his league leading 3rd home run of the year.
In women’s baseball, Shier’s Insurance beat Victorian Construction in a close game. Nicole Manion of Shier’s Insurance hit a home run in the 5th inning.
