Bracebridge Blues team folds for the season in GMHL

The Bracebridge Blues will not be continuing their 2016-17 season in the GMHL.
League President Bob Russell confirmed that the team had folded for the season as a decision by owner Al Donnan.
Russell says the decision was made due to trouble recruiting players.
Moose FM spoke with Donnan who says they are hoping to work with the town and all stakeholders involved to be able to come back next season in a better position.
Donnan says he’s disappointed about having to make this difficult decision, but he had to take the players into account.
He says the team has done the best it can for the past three years of operation.
