A loss for the Almaguin Highlanders girls' varsity soccer team

In varsity girls’ soccer, the Almaguin Highlanders team played their first two games at the single A OFSAA tournament in Windsor yesterday. The girls lost a close match against Heritage Christian School from Jordan, ON by a score of 4-1. Carley Palangio scored for the Highlanders. In their second match, the girl’s played the number one seed Villanova Collegiate. The girls played their best and fought hard but did not come out with the win. Justine Leveque scored the lone goal for the Highlanders. Next up, the girls take on St. Thomas Aquinas from Kenora.
