The Almaguin Spartans are gearing up for action on the ice this weekend.
On Saturday, the team will kick off their new GMHL season in Sturgeon Falls facing the West Nipissing Lynx.
The Spartans were meant to travel to Bracebridge to take on the Blues on Sunday, however that game has been postponed.
