A piece of sports history is now inside the Summit Centre.
Olympic Gold Medalist Dara Howell’s worn items are on display in a glass case inside the arena, just before the pool.
Some of the item’s included her Olympic bib, skis and goggles. Howell said never would she of guessed her item’s would be on display.
Howell became the first Gold Medalist in the Slopestyle Ski event at the Sochii Winter Games in 2014. When she saw her gear; she said it reminded her of all the hard work she put in to get to where she is.
