The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame is days away. There will be four inductees into the hall of fame this year. Chair Wendy McConnell says the induction ceremony gives you a look at the kind of sporting history we have in Huntsville.
Andy Cooke, Derek Mackesy, Stan Rimmington and the 76 Huntsville Oldtimers are this year’s inductees. The ceremony is happening this Saturday at the Active Living Centre. It starts at 7 p.m.
McConnell says there will also be two other awards giving out that night.
The recipients of the Jan Glenn are Jane Wolfe and Sharon Wallace and the late Winston Watson is the recipient of the Mike Greaves Trophy.
