Local student wins medal at biathlon regionals in France

A Huntsville High School Nordic Junior Girl skier has won a medal across the ocean. Maddison Smrtka is in France on a cultural exchange and competed at her school’s regional Biathlon championships. She won bronze and has qualified to compete at the French National Biathlon Championships.
