Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival returns to Huntsville this weekend

The annual Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival is returning to Huntsville this weekend, bringing craft beer and community fun to the downtown core.

Organized by the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, the festival takes place May 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at River Mill Park. Organizers said attendees can expect more than 50 craft beers, live music, games, and a variety of food vendors from local businesses.

“We are super excited, this is the kickoff to summer,” said Hallie Clover, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. “You get to enjoy live music all day, great food, great drinks, so it’s going to be a fantastic day.”

Clover said breweries from across Ontario will be featured at the festival, as well as local favourites including Lake of Bays Brewing Co. and Sawdust City Brewing Co. The event will also feature craft beverage companies from Alberta, Nova Scotia, and a single-serve cocktail manufacturer from the United Kingdom.

Attendees can enjoy performances from local musicians and entertainers throughout the day, including Tobin Spring, Jeremy Waterhouse, Sean Cotton, and the Cameron of Lochiel Pipes and Drums.

Clover said the event also serves as a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce, which benefits the community year-round.

“The funds from this go back into supporting small businesses, and all the programming we do throughout the year, so it’s a great cause,” she said.

Tickets are available at the event or in advance through Eventbrite. Advance tickets include three complimentary beer tokens.
