Trillium Lakelands District School Board welcomes new member to its senior administration team

Trillium Lakelands District School Board has named Kim Horrigan as the executive officer of Facility Services, Transportation Services, and Capital Innovation.

“I am committed to bringing community connections, local knowledge, experience, and my dedication to well-being to this role. I also look forward to continuing the positive work of an organization that is known for its support of students and their families,” said Horrigan.

Officials said Horrigan brings over 20 years of public administration leadership experience, including 10 years in school board leadership, where she managed complex, substantial department budgets and oversaw all aspects of facility services and capital projects.

Most recently, she served as the senior manager and controller of the Facility Services Department at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board.

“Kim brings a wealth of senior executive experience and knowledge to contribute to the leadership of TLDSB,” said Wes Hahn, director of education. “I am confident that her commitment to operational efficiency will directly support the strategic direction of the system.”

According to officials, her role will include leading the Facility Services and Transportation Services departments, managing business continuity and crisis management, overseeing capital planning and projects, and handling risk management for the Board.
