Township of Muskoka Lake inviting community to provide input on 2026 budget

The Township of Muskoka Lakes is inviting residents, businesses, and stakeholders to review and provide input on local service and funding priorities ahead of 2026 budget deliberations.

A pre-budget report will be published this Friday ( Sept. 12) and presented at a public meeting on September 17 at 9 a.m. in the council chambers. Residents can attend in person, or online.

Officials say the report is not the final budget, however, it provides the mayor and council staff’s recommendation, an overview of service delivery expectations, outlines financial pressures, and creates an opportunity for public feedback.
