The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame Board wants your nominations. Chair Wendy McConnell says they are already working on the list.
The deadline to submit a nominee is Sunday, Feb. 15. McConnell says they are looking for outstanding citizens in the community.
The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame has become an important component to the community. McConnell says she gives all the credit for having a sports hall of game to Mike Greaves who recently passed away.
Murray Ruby, Bill Nickalls, Dan Roycroft, Bob Hutcheson and Olympic gold medalist Dara Howell were inducted last year. The induction ceremony is happening at the Active Living Centre on April 25.
