Muskoka Arts and Crafts show to temporarily close roads in Bracebridge July 18 to 20

From July 18 to 20, Town of Bracebridge and District of Muskoka officials say they will be implementing on-street parking restrictions, road closures and detours.

These measures are being taken to assist traffic to the Muskoka Arts and Crafts Summer Show that will be held at Annie Williams Park over the weekend.

On-street parking restrictions will be in effect during the following times:

  • July 18 – 11 A.M. to 5 P.M.
  • July 19 – 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
  • July 20 – 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Officials advise drivers to follow on-site road signage.

The following roads will be restricted:

  • Brofoco Drive from Santa’s Village Road south to 33 & 38 Brofoco Drive
  • Ewing Street from Santa’s Village Road  to Dill Street
  • Spadina Avenue from Santa’s Village Road to Dill Street
  • Spencer Street from Santa’s Village Road  to Dill Street

Town officials say attendees can enter through Dill Street to Ewing Street and exit via Spencer Street to Dill Street.

Ewing Street will temporarily be a one-way street from north to south so that vehicles may access Santa’s Village Road from Dill Street; and Spencer Street will also temporarily become a one-way street from south to north so that vehicles may access Dill Street from Santa’s Village Road.

Officials say drivers should follow detour signs to Dill Street and turn west at the stop lights, adding that local access for residents will be available.

District officials say a temporary road closure of Santa’s Village Road between Wellington Street and Spencer Street will be in effect July 18 July 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

They say parking will be available at these locations:

  • Annie Williams Memorial Park
  • Wellington Street Pentecostal Church
  • Dewey Institute and Georgian College
  • Rotary Centre for Youth
