The District of Muskoka has opened registrations for the Muskoka Business Week Events and Sessions.
According to officials, the event, which takes place Nov. 23 to 27, aims to bring together businesses, entrepreneurs and community partners from across the region.
“Local businesses are the heart of our economy. Especially now, given the trade war, it’s essential that all levels of government come together with our local business organizations to offer all the support we can to protect and grow local jobs and the local economy,” said Jeff Lehman, Chair of the District of Muskoka. “Muskoka Business Week is an opportunity to celebrate and grow their contributions, while creating meaningful connections and opportunities for future success.”
Officials said attendees can explore Muskoka’s municipal, business and community resources, access funding and business growth opportunities, and gain practical tools for businesses of all sizes.
The District said the event will also provide opportunities to connect with employers, educators and community leaders, learn from local experts and entrepreneurs, explore workforce development and innovation, and build partnerships to support inclusive workplaces and future growth.
Officials said most events and sessions are free, but space may be limited.
The initiative is supported by local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, municipalities, and community groups.
