Gravenhurst local played for Team Ontario at Junior Mens’ Field Lacrosse Nationals

In U19 Nationals for Junior Mens’ Field Lacrosse, new Gravenhurst resident Patrick Wals represented team Ontario in Edmonton this past weekend. The team did extremely well making it to the finals against B.C. for the First Nations Trophy. In their first few games Ontario edged B.C. 11-10, tied Saskatchewan 10-10, slammed Nova Scotia 25-2 and beat Alberta 22-5. In the end, Ontario lost a hard battle against B.C. in the finals 14-11.
