Huntsville is speaking out against Russia’s military action against Ukraine. In 2010, Huntsville hosted the G8 World Summit and a flag park was built to commemorate the event. Mayor Claude Doughty says he spoke with council and it was a unanimous decision to remove the Russian flag.

Doughty says, like the rest of Canada, the town is urging Russia to withdraw their forces immediately.
