Blowing snow and high winds for Parry Sound area

A special weather statement has been issued for Parry Sound, Rosseau and Killbear Park. Environment Canada says wind gusts of up to 50 kilometres an hour are expected to produce blowing snow this afternoon and into the evening. Five to 10 centimetres expected. This could cause reduced visibility on our roads, especially in wide open areas. Roads will be snow covered which could cause some hazardous driving conditions.
