Kelly Shires Foundation looking to support breast cancer patients, while setting a world record

A group of snowmobilers is trying to break a world record to benefit breast cancer patients.

The four person team is doing the event to raise money for the Kelly Shires Foundation, which offers financial assistance to patients who have been recently diagnosed.

In the last year, the foundation says it has helped over 500 patients.

The sledders plan to have a measured track set up on Lake Muskoka, weather permitting, with the ride to take place on March 5 and 6.
