Hunting season has begun in Ontario. But, experts are making sure it’s a safe season.
As of Saturday, small animals like rabbits, squirrels, porcupines, ducks and birds can be hunted. Kevin Stroud teaches firearm and hunting courses in Muskoka and says there are some great areas to hunt for small animals in Huntsville.
Wild turkeys have been spotted in the area, Stroud says those animals cannot be shot this early in hunting season.
