There are three basic pillars of Withey’s campaign, the first of which is fiscal responsibility.

Withey will also address concerns about health care.

The last pillar of his campaign will focus on sustainability and environmental issues. Withey says Huntsville has made great strides in those areas, such as our solar panel initiatives. He says, as mayor, he would like to continue to lead by example in conserving energy.

This is Withey’s first time running for mayor. The municipal election is scheduled for October 27th. Candidates have until September 12th to file their nominations.
