The Silver Bridge rehabilitation project in Bracebridge continues with permanent structural steel repairs to the main truss.
According to District of Muskoka officials, the work follows the Aug. 31 bridge lift, which placed the structure in a supported condition, allowing crews to repair and replace damaged steel, complete concrete repairs beneath the bridge, and install new bridge bearings.
Officials said crews are now installing wood formwork to complete another section of concrete refacing along the Ecclestone Drive retaining wall.
District officials said there are no new impacts for residents or pedestrians this week.
