Topper’s Pizza celebrates grand opening of first Muskoka location in Huntsville

Topper’s Pizza has officially opened the doors of its first Muskoka location, marking a new addition to downtown Huntsville.

Founded in Sudbury in 1982, the Canadian-owned and operated pizza chain is now serving customers at 4 King William Street in the former general store building.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held July 13 with owners, staff, and local dignitaries including Huntsville Mayor Nancy Alcock and Councillor Scott Morrison.

Alcock gave a short speech, in which she welcomed the business to the region and highlighted its commitment to supporting the communities it serves.

“Topper’s loves to be a part of and give back to the community wherever they are,” she said.

Following the ceremony, the restaurant welcomed residents with free food samples, prizes, and special opening-day deals. Three customers also won free pizza for a year.

Owner Satya Singh said the Huntsville location has received a great deal of support since they opened on June 15, and in just under a month, they have already established a strong and loyal customer base.

“There’s a lot of nice customers. People are really supportive. I see many of the same people coming back again and again,” Singh said. “We are overwhelmed and are really grateful for the people around here.”
