Bracebridge to host annual Triathlon and Duathlon July 11, 12

The Town of Bracebridge is getting ready to host the annual Triathlon and Duathlon on July 11 and 12.

According to officials, the event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily.

Town officials said while no road closures will take place, residents and visitors may experience delays along the race route.

As a result, drivers are asked to share sections of Santa’s Village Road with event participants, including from 26 metres west of Spadina Avenue to Golden Beach Road and from 31 metres south of Muskoka Road 118 West.

Residents and visitors are also asked to share the route from Ewing Street to Wellington Street, Beaumont Drive, and 894 metres northeast of Henry Road.

Additionally, officials said roads surrounding Annie Williams Memorial Park will be restricted to local traffic only.
