Quilters’ Guild to host fundraiser in support of South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and Hospice Muskoka

The Pine Tree Quilters’ Guild of Muskoka’s 2026 Quilt Show will be held in support of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and Hospice Muskoka.

The event, which will take place on June 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, is also celebrating the organization’s 35th year.

“We are so grateful to the Pine Tree Quilters Guild for turning their passion into meaningful support for South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and Hospice Muskoka. Their generosity strengthens local health care and reflects the care and community spirit that makes Muskoka such a special place,” said Tammy Selkirk, Community Giving Coordinator, South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.

According to officials, this year’s show will feature more than 300 quilts, including large and small quilts, wall hangings, clothing, accessories, decor pieces, machine pieced, hand pieced, machine and hand quilted items.

Officials said this will also be the first year to feature a special exhibit showcasing youth quilters. In addition, the event will include a Merchant Mall, demonstrations, a Members’ Boutique, and the ever-popular Quilt Raffle featuring five handcrafted quilts.

“When people come together with purpose, the impact reaches far beyond a single project; it supports care for neighbours, friends, and families across our region,” said Selkirk.
