Hospice Muskoka’s Andy’s House hosting Cram-a-Cruiser event for West Muskoka Food Bank Dec. 10

Hospice Muskoka’s Andy’s House will be hosting its first annual Cram-a-Cruiser event in support of the West Muskoka Food Bank on Dec. 10.

Officials said the event will be held at 16 West Street in Port Carling at 11 a.m., where all donations collected will be “crammed” into an OPP cruiser.

“Community support is at the heart of everything we do,” said Jody Somerville, Development & Communications Manager at Hospice Muskoka Andy’s House. “We are thrilled to bring people together to make a meaningful difference this holiday season. Every donation helps families in West Muskoka have a brighter, warmer holiday.”

Jody Somerville, the organization’s development and communications manager, said that they welcome unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items.

“Donations are appreciated anytime from now until event day,” she said.

Officials said they encourage residents, organizations, and businesses to participate, either by donating, spreading the word, or joining the celebration.
