The Ontario Winter Games are underway

The 2014 Ontario Winter Games are on! Last night a huge crowd of athletes, coaches and officials gathered at the Muskoka Wharf Special Events Field to officially kick things off. Despite frigid temperatures, athletes from across Ontario who arrived by bus were in top form cheering their peers on in a ceremony that included the athletes marching into the field to pumping music. Spectators will be
able to take in all types of sporting events in the coming days from para alpine skiing to snowboarding and table tennis. The Games go all weekend at a number of venues throughout Muskoka and surrounding
areas.
