Build a Dream and TLDSB present – Career Discovery Expo!

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) has partnered with Build a Dream to present Career Discovery Expo event – a FREE, virtual event taking place on Thursday, November 18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
This interactive virtual event is for Grade 7-12 students and their families, and will highlight opportunities to explore a wide range of career paths and get help with career planning. This event will include careers in the following growing sectors: skilled trades, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), emergency response, entrepreneur, and leadership.
The event will also feature:
Inspirational women highlighting their journeys and advice.
Industry panel where employers share what they look for in a candidate and how to get an edge.
A pathway presentation from your school board discussing FREE programs accessible in high school.
Questions and answers with speakers and industry representatives.
Breakout rooms, games, prizes, surveys, and more!
