MS Walk in Muskoka breaks fundraising expectations

An annual charity walk in Muskoka is gaining more followers.
The Mandarin MS Walk kicked off on Sunday and organizers say they went way over their fundraising goal.
Organizer Christine Cousins says this year the bad weather didn’t seem to stop new walkers from joining the event.
Cousins says they were able to raise over $11,000 for the MS Society of Canada, which is was $4,000 higher than their goal.
She says the funds will be used for things like the MS Knowledge Network, which provides more information to anyone interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis.
