Tractor trailer fire has Highway 69 closed near Harris Lake

Highway 69 north of Parry Sound is closed because of a tractor trailer fire.  Around 9:30am this morning, Britt Fire Department responded to the fire two kilometers north of Harris Lake and closed both lanes.  The highway remains closed at this time and small vehicle traffic is being asked to use Highway 529 to get around the scene.  West Parry Sound OPP will advise when the highway is reopened which is expected to be this afternoon.
