Muskoka Lakes Council hearing Bala Falls deputations this morning

Six deputations are addressing Muskoka Lakes council this morning in Port Carling about Bala Falls. One is Peggy Peterson, the woman who has been camped out at the falls for over 100 days who is against the proposed hydro plant. Others include Swift River’s Bala Project Manager Karen McGhee, the proposed hydro plant’s architect Karl Stevens, Swift River Energy Ltd’s Vice President Frank Belerique, Save the Bala Falls’ Mitchell Shnier and Drew Cowern and Deborah Ylanko of the Moon River Property Owners’ Association.
