The nursing station project in Port Carling has received new funding. On December 8th, the Cowan Foundation handed over a $150,000 cheque to the Muskoka Lakes Nursing Station team. The new nursing station will include a full-time nurse Practitioner, Admin assistant and a collaborative association with a Physician. The nursing station will be part of the Brock and Willa Wellness Centre that will also include a hospice and retirement residence.
