Police arrest two teens after investigating recent thefts from vehicles in South River
Two teens have been arrested for stealing items from cars in South River. Almaguin Highlands OPP says they arrested the 16-year-old boys on Christmas Eve. This comes after an investigation into thefts from vehicles between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14. The boys are charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property. Meantime, the OPP says thefts from cars are preventable. They suggest you roll up your car window, lock your door, park in a well-lit area and never leave your valuables in plain sight.
