Dorset has partnered with the District of Muskoka for the Townships and Villages Initiatives fund. These funds help offer local activities and programs to get the community more active. Reeve Carol Moffatt says Dorset is full of people who have a strong sense of identity with a long history of being active.

Other activities for consideration next year include the cardboard toboggan race in Feburary, children’s festival in July or the Scarecrow Contest in the fall. Moffat says it’s a great program we hope to continue.
