SEVERN, ON-The police have arrested a driver in Severn after he was found to be impaired by drugs.

On November 24th at around 6:00 a.m. the Orillia OPP responded to a call about a possibly impaired driver in Severn.

The police identified a vehicle matching the description going Southbound along HWY 11 and stopped the man near West St.

OPP determined that the man was indeed impaired and that he was in possession of property that was stolen from Huntsville earlier.

Police charged the 53-year-old Huntsville man with driving while impaired, possession obtained by crime, theft of over $5,000 and breach of probation.

The accused is set to appear on December 17th at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia.
