Skyservice unveils new base of operations

GRAVENHURST, ON-Skyservice unveiled their new base of operations at the Muskoka Airport with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

On November 21st Skyservice revealed their new Muskoka Center Hanger facility where they will be able to provide aviation utilities such as maintenance, repair and overhaul services, which will pair with the services already at the 60,000 square-foot hanger.

Less than a month ago on October 28th, Skyserivce announced that they would be opening a new branch at the Muskoka Airport.

This new location for the company will serve as a base of operations and will focus on catering their assistance to regional, commercial and corporate planes.

“With over 35 years of expertise in maintenance services, our highly skilled team is looking forward to delivering world-class customer experience in the Muskoka area,” said Emlyn David, president and CEO of Skyservice.

Skyservice said the Muskoka branch is the newest in their already expanding company which is stationed in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary.

Paul Kelly, Mayor of Gravenhurst was also at the ceremony and in an interview with the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom, he said that he was thrilled to have this company join the Muskoka community. “It is a huge economic boost to have them here because they are bringing a significant number of employees with them and they are planning on putting on a job fair to bring on even more,” said Kelly.

Skyservice is an authorized service facility in Canada for over 30 years and has been making use of many original equipment manufacturers such as Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault/Falcon and HondaJet.
