COTTAGE COUNTRY, ON- Anyone traveling today should keep an eye on the skies.
Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory running from the Parry Sound area to Huntsville, due to incoming intense bands of snow.
The snow is linked to a fast moving cold front that will pass through this morning. Snowfall amounts of two to four centimeters are possible, along with gusty winds.
Motorists should be prepared for sudden poor winter driving conditions from quickly accumulating snow and low visibility due to brief bursts of heavy wet snow.
In the wake of the cold front, temperatures will drop several degrees in just a few hours.
Any snow that may have melted on roads and other surfaces could freeze producing icy and slippery conditions.
Anyone driving through the area should exercise caution and drive to the conditions.
