Bank robbery suspect headed to plea court

BARRIE, ON- Bank robbery suspect Avery Nickerson may be entering a plea deal during his next court appearance.

35-year-old Nickerson was arrested and charged after a trio of bank robberies that occurred in Parry Sound and Orillia. He was eventually caught on July 17th in Barrie.

All three robberies were carried out by a man passing a note to the teller usually in the afternoon at around 3:30 p.m.

Each time, the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nickerson was identified by the police as the main suspect after a pair of robberies in Orillia on July 11th, two days after the robbery in Parry Sound.
